Are you passionate about innovative technologies at the intersection of speech, voice and music?

Interested in Sonos, and further raising the quality bar of voice to evolve the experience of music in your home?

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical audio background with experience in acoustic measurements and recordings. 

You will be a valued part of the team using state-of-the-art techniques to simulate, measure and predict how our products will perform in our customer’s homes.

What You’ll Do
•  Conduct a variety of acoustic measurements, including room impulse responses  
•  Execute speech data collection projects in different environments across multiple languages
•  Create and maintain documentation for collected audio measurement data
•  Use a mix of manual, semiautomatic and fully automated test tools to gather quantitative results in the lab and in the field
•  Work with cross-functional teams (UX, Dev) to test voice-enabled products creatively and effectively
Skills You’ll Need
Skills You’ll Need:

•  2+ years working as an audio measurement technician or engineer
•  Strong technical knowledge in audio theory (transducers, room acoustics, digital and analog audio)
•  Ability to work independently to setup and debug testing systems with complex audio signal flow
•  Extreme attention to detail, especially as related to audio measurements and recordings
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Strong organizational skills to manage large amounts of measurement data


•  High-level programming experience with an emphasis on automated testing, data analysis, or audio processing (Python, Matlab, Simulink)
•  Experience with the following tools or similar tools: Audio Precision, ACQUA (HEAD Acoustics), Adobe Audition
•  Experience testing voice recognition on embedded and cloud-based systems
