Summer Internship 2020 | User Research Data Analyst

Department: Design and Creative

Location: Santa Barbara

Req#: 5537

“The only true voyage of discovery … (would be) to possess other eyes, to behold the universe through the eyes of another.”  Marcel Proust, French Novelist

User Research, part of the product team at Sonos, seeks to help the company understand the world, as novelist Marcel Proust wrote, “through the eyes of another,” our customers.

You will be joining a User Research team who has an expertise in conducting qualitative research. Your role will be to integrate the right quantitative data into research projects to bring the needs of users to life, and help our colleagues empathize with and act on those needs.  Our team identifies opportunities for meaningful questions, projects and initiatives to inspire long-term strategy and product development.

There will be a unique opportunity for you to pursue a hybrid research approach that unites qualitative insights with quantitative discoveries. This approach will help to nurture a company culture keenly focused on human needs and understanding by “telling the user’s story.”

Come join the Sonos User Research team to help inspire the world to listen better!
