Summer Internship 2020 | Software Development Engineer in Test, Embedded (Boston, Seattle)

Department: Software

Location: Boston, Seattle

Req#: 5536

The Embedded test team works closely with the Embedded development team and works to understand new features for our Sonos products and designs complete test plans for those features.  The team is responsible for collaborating across teams as needed to ensure that their test plan addresses all major risk areas for the product and working with PM to understand what those risk areas are.  They are also responsible for determining which of the tests in their test plan should be automated, and writing automation code for those.

This internship will focus on gathering requirements from various teams for the feature you will be testing, designing and developing code for testing that feature, and then demo’ing your work to the test teams.  In addition to this project-specific work, you will be code reviewing other test team member’s work, integrating into the embedded test culture, and learning about the software development process at Sonos.
