As a member of the DevOps Team your role would include the management of AWS and other Cloud Services and the development of our continuous integration (CI) and service delivery (CD) pipeline & tooling for Sonos Cloud Services teams. You should have a relentless drive to constantly measure and improve the engineering efficiency of delivering scalable and quality services to our customers and partners.

What You’ll Do
DevOps engineers work with our cross-functional service teams. The whole team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, delivering, and supporting our services operations engineering strategies and processes via the following:
    • Automate testing of CI/CD tools or services developed by DevOps team
    • Automate DevOps tools or services deployment
    • Develop tools to support AWS operations or CI/CD
    • Toolchain maintenance
    • Collaborate with the product teams to improve existing operations methodologies

Skills You’ll Need

  • Programming fundamentals, data structures and algorithms
  • Hands-on experience in Mac or Linux shell and Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to break down projects into iterative deliverables
  • Knowledge and expertise that will are beneficial or that you can expect to learn during your internship:

AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD toolchain
GitHub & Jenkins
  • Scrum principles by participating in daily standup meetings, weekly grooming sessions, and other meetings
  • Working alongside a mentor, manager, and other teammates who can provide expectations and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrive and not be afraid to move quickly, challenge yourself, ask questions, and learn from failure
