Product Marketing and Collaborations is a small but mighty team leading product launches and energy partnerships within the global Go To Market organization. Our cross-functional remit is to set the global vision, direction and plan for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Limited Edition (LE) programs across Hardware and Software; supporting the functional and regional teams to execute within their areas of expertise.

What You’ll Do
As one of our interns, you’ll spend your summer working closely with Product Marketing and Collaborations on a variety of projects related to current and upcoming NPIs and LEs. You’ll get exposure to almost every part of Sonos through cross-functional collaboration on everything from drafting briefs to hosting trainings. 
You, as one of our junior helpers, will be asked to:
  • Support the development of NPI briefs, budgets and creative directives
  • Work with Consumer Insights to leverage and apply research to launch planning and product development
  • Support the operationalization and development of forward looking LE programs

You, as a cross-functional intern, will support, collaborate and align with:
  • Product Management, Engineering and Operations
  • Global Brand, Global Retail and Global Communications
  • Strategic Partnerships and Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Regional Sales and Marketing

Skills You’ll Need
Basic qualifications:
  • An enrolled college student
  • A strong generalist with a diverse educational, internship and volunteer background
  • Empathetic and analytical, skilled at understanding and advocating for multiple stakeholders and interests
  • An excellent writer, verbal communicator and presenter with refined interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency with standard office software - MS Office, Google Docs

Preferred qualifications:
  • Exposure to and experience with business development, product management and marketing
  • High attention to detail with strong strategic sensibilities and executional prowess
  • Technical aptitude or literacy with software and / or hardware engineering philosophies and principles 
  • Seasoned creative development, creative production and agency management abilities
