Summer Internship 2020 | E-Commerce Intern

Department: Retail, Sales and Commercial

Req#: 5883

At Sonos, we aspire to grow our Direct to Consumer channel twice as fast as the rest of our business. The Ecommerce team brings that goal to life by working cross-functionally to build a premium education experience that drives conversion and order value. Our team produces web experiences in support of new product introductions, promotions, new merchandising experiences, demand driving programs, always-on optimization, and geo-expansion.

We are looking for an Ecommerce Intern that can take on 2-3 special projects over the summer, with measurable impact on our business.

You will engage in planning, tactical execution, and analysis of key programs on our ecommerce platform, including but not limited to: Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Site Search analysis and tuning, and seasonal go-to-market campaigns.
About You

More than a candidate that checks every box, we’re looking for people who are excited to work, learn, and grow at Sonos—no matter their background or how they identify. If that’s you, we hope you’ll apply for this role.

You want to be part of a team.

You come with new ideas and a unique point of view. You look forward to collaborating with a diverse team of individuals. You assume everyone’s best intentions, welcome a healthy debate, and embrace differing opinions. You eagerly seek and give help. Transparency tops your list of values, and you proactively contribute to a culture of respect and inclusion.

You enjoy a challenge.

Inquisitive and focused, you see every challenge as an opportunity. You’re ambitious and comfortable making mistakes because you learn from them and bounce back quickly. You would rather create the future than wait for it. You prioritize long-term value over short-term objectives.

You love to listen.

You approach every interaction with curiosity and a desire to understand. You want to make a positive impact in the world. You’re passionate about culture and know the power that music, film, podcasts, games, and stories have to bring people together.

What You’ll Do
  • Support our CRO process by managing idea intake, generating test hypotheses, working cross-functionally to execute tests, and following-up with stakeholders with analysis and next steps
  • Monitor global search queries and tune site search within Salesforce Commerce Cloud (ecommerce platform), with a focus on optimizing for conversion and relevancy
  • Help draft briefs, compose project plans, and drive execution of seasonal GTM campaigns, including promotions and merchandising experiences

  • Experience managing complex projects with integrity and transparency to all stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience with Google docs (collaboration), Jira (issue and work tracking), and Confluence (documentation)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud a plus (self-guided modules are available to the public via Trailhead) OR an aptitude for learning new platforms and systems
