First impressions are critical.  The Setup & Configuration team creates the experience customers use to quickly and reliably connect the smartest speakers on the planet to streaming music services, voice services and other devices in the home.  It’s a complex technology stack that integrates components from the hardware, security, player, network, wireless, and cloud teams.

As an intern in this central role, targeted projects will give you a chance to learn the entire Sonos ecosystem to influence design, quality and testing decisions that affect the out of box customer experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with peers and partner teams to deliver a well-tested project
  • Leverage a network of internal contacts as you build new specifications
  • Create tools and infrastructure enhancements to enable better testing
  • Continually improve automation framework reliability, coverage and scope
  • Investigate, log and triage bugs to determine root cause
  • Design an effective manual and automated test approach

Skills You’ll Need
  • An ability to test and debug Android and iOS applications, end-to-end
  • History designing and implementing automation frameworks for Android and iOS 
  • A background using python or similar scripting language
  • Curiosity to dig in to learn how diverse systems interact
  • Engineering skills that span across platforms to test UI, APIs or the full hw/sw stack
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills
