As a Sr. Test Engineer, you will represent the Quality Engineering Test discipline in product development team.

You will strive for service engineering excellence and work closely with the SW team in the design and implementation of APIs.
You will test the new features for content and discovery, playback and controls in an Agile framework that will ensure our customers will have a high quality experience at home or on the go.

What You’ll Do
  • Engineer new test framework to support search service and mobile client applications

  • Drive test planning, design edge cases and conduct manual testing of system and component / service level to test various features across all platforms: Mac, Windows, Android and iOS

  • Constantly perform gap analysis of existing tests, writing new and ensure good coverage while being as lean as possible.

  • Investigate results, logs and triage bugs to determine root cause and establish prioritization of any issues discovered during manual and/or automation testing.

  • Work closely with testers, developers, UX designers and product managers

  • Evaluate the needs to design and build automation framework where necessary

  • Document and mentor other members of the team to expand their technical competencies and to adapt the best software engineering practices.


Skills You’ll Need

    • Proven experience with UI and server backend testing, testing desktop and mobile device: iOS and Android
    • Demonstrate some experience or knowledge with automation with one or more of the following: Python, Pytest, C++/C#, Node.js, JavaScript, Java
    • Experience with GitHub / Perforce, Jira, TestRail, CI/CD, Jenkins, Linux, Postman, Bash.
    • Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing is a plus.
    • Experience using mock services for testing is a plus
