As a Software Development Manager for Networking you will lead a team of world class engineers responsible for delivering the industry’s most innovative audio processing and smart networking solution for streaming audio in your home.  We pride ourselves with maintaining our reputation of having Rock Solid Wireless reliability and performance.  You will work with some of the brightest minds in the business across multiple disciplines of software, hardware, acoustics, networking and wireless technologies. What You’ll Do
As a Software Manager on the Networking and Wifi, you will:

•Hire, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
•Lead a team of high performing engineers while driving technical decisions and team direction.
•Work with teams across the organization to develop new features and products that delight our customers.
•Manage all the stages of large engineering projects from concept to design through implementation and release.  This includes staffing allocation, project management and documentation.
•Collect and analyze networking data to improve performance of our system.
•Increase productivity through automation, workflow streamlining, and system optimization. 
•Mentor team members so they become successful both technically and professionally. 
Skills You’ll Need
  • Experience in managing software engineers and leading large software projects.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Track record of shipping reliable, extensible and maintainable software.
  • Knowledge and experience with Linux kernel development is strongly desired.
  • Understanding of embedded systems
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in L2 and L3 networking and Wi-Fi (802.11) technologies.
  • Working knowledge of C and C++ development with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi chipsets and consumer-based hardware is a plus.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, results oriented environment.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 3+ years of leading teams in software development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
