Sr. Brand Designer EEM

You will be the keeper of the Sonos brand design across functions and consumer touchpoints. Integrate within core comms including paid media, brand activation, market needs, retail and DTC to anchor our outward communications in the Sonos tone and brand design guidelines. Champion the quality of local market work ensuring local relevance while keeping in line with global guidelines. Work closely with the production and localisation teams to deliver locality and right tonality within the Sonos brand voice.

We are looking for a doer and skilled design leader, a strategic, innovative problem solver and collaborative team player who can lead and develop a small team while handling multiple projects of size and scope. Deep trenches of experience and skillsets in design across media formats, content creation, digital and social. This role requires direction as well as execution.

What You’ll Do
You are the brand’s design expert in the EMEA region. You’ll be responsible for: 
  • Responsible for design support of strategic business initiatives, i.e. product launches, campaign launches, owner/prospect initiatives. 
  • Work with Global Brand Design on specific creative needs per market to ensure consistent TOV and look and feel.
  • Creative back bone of Studio team, ensuring it aligns with brand TOV, brand strategy, and brand narrative.
  • Work closely with market leads to ensure strategic alignment and knowledge share.
  • Responsible for identifying unique opportunities based on market specific behaviors and insights.
  • Work directly with country stakeholders on product and campaign launches to create bespoke assets within plans as needed across interactive, print, or above-the-line.
Skills You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, advertising, art direction or related field.
  • 7+ years career experience - in-house or start-up design experience and interactive work.
  • Agency experience a must. 2+ years of experience leading design projects.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills within the team and with partners.
  • Experience managing stakeholders to timelines and deliverables.
  • Experience on-set with shoots including film, photography and content creation.
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing creative design solutions.
  • Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design.
  • In-depth understanding of Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Keynote.
  • Able to function independently and in a team environment.
