Senior Technical Product Manager - Cloud Services

We are looking for a highly technical Senior Product Manager to work closely with our engineering team to design and architect our cloud platform, and have vision to build the foundation that will allow us to enable our partners to build innovative experiences on the Sonos platform.
To thrive in this role, you must obsess with customer experience, bring a strong eye for innovation, have technical depth (especially in building cloud based experiences) and possess solid business savvy. We need someone who has shipped products before, and is versatile and can work comfortably in an ambiguous environment.
We are looking for someone who communicates effectively, can balance short term tradeoffs while maintaining a clear vision for the future, and is excited about pushing the boundaries of innovation. As the Senior Technical Product Manager for Cloud Platform, you must have a solid background in services scalability, performance, and supportability of services.

This role requires strong
technical, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as passion around
music and technology. You will bring a strong technical background having
worked with various platforms, and key past experiences necessary for this
- 5+ years of recent
experience as a Technical Product Manager.
- Software Product
Management experience with significant technical focus.
- Highly analytical with
strong experience in data driven engineering.
- Substantial, demonstrated experience as a cross-functional leader driving
the creation of successful, technically innovative products.
- Proven experience shipping large scale cloud services in the past (knows
what it takes to run and support a service that reaches millions of users).
- Expertise in IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and communication
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to
articulate both business/user value and complex technical concepts to a variety
- Degree in CS/CE or other technical field, or equivalent experience as a
software developer for consumer electronic devices or platform development.
- Passion for music and home audio is a must!
