What You’ll Do
  • Design, implementation, evaluation, optimization, and testing of spatial audio reproduction systems and algorithms through loudspeakers 
  • Perceptual evaluation and subjective testing of audio rendering products. 
  • Research into psychoacoustics, spatial auditory perception and human factors, to guide product directions. 
  • Explore opportunities and requirements to create new sound experiences and perform research necessary to deliver them. 
Skills You’ll Need
  • Experience in spatial audio (e.g. wave field synthesis, advanced multi speaker rendering techniques, beamforming, head-related transfer functions, and auditory perception). 
  • Experience in psychoacoustics, and auditory modelling. 
  • Experience with subjective and objective audio quality assessment (e.g., designing perceptual studies) 
  • Experience with room acoustics and speaker/room interaction 
  • A proven track record of innovation in product development or research 
  • Proficient programming in Matlab/Python and C/C++. 
  • Knowledge of audio measurement tools (e.g., Audio Precision) 
  • Knowledge of prototyping software (e.g., Max/MSP) or Digital Audio Workstations (e.g, Protools)
