Sonos is searching for a Senior Global Stock Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Stock Administrator with Public Company experience. He or she will be a Subject Matter Expert capable of building & implementing cross functional Stock Admin processes and procedures in a Public Company environment.

The Senior Global Stock Administrator helps Sonos accomplish its objectives by bringing Subject Matter Expertise to take the administration of our Global Equity Plan to the next level.

This position reports to the Director Global Accounting Operations and will be responsible for building the global equity administration function and coordinating global equity and basic shareholder activity companywide. In addition to the daily administration, this role will create and document best practices, and continually strive for positive customer experiences through education and communication to employees around equity compensation.  

The Senior Global Stock Administrator must be detail oriented to ensure the accuracy of the data, timely issuance of grants and processing of all equity transactions. This person will interface with a variety of Global operational departments within Sonos and lead the coordination of activities involved in this cross functional role.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage the administration and execution of Sonos’ global equity programs
  • Oversight of the day-to-day stock administration functions such as processing terminations, new grants, option exercises and other equity transactions
  • Implement processes for a newly public company’s equity program including preparing for end of lock-up period and working with Payroll and HR to automate process reporting
  • Roll-out of Employee Stock Purchase Program and implementation of all processes surrounding a new ESPP program
  • Establish processes and procedures relating to all international required filings (i.e. China SAFE registration) 
  • Drive improvement to enhance efficiencies, processes and accuracy of data
  • Develop and monitor quarterly disqualified disposition reports along with year-end tax statements
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Payroll, Legal, Tax & Treasury and Human Resources on equity reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and foreign regulations along with securities laws
  • Assist in creating and presenting employee educational materials on equity compensation
Skills You’ll Need
  • 10+ years’ experience in stock administration in stock options, restricted stock units and ESPP in a Global company
  • Highly organized individual with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of personal accountability
  • Experience building and implementing cross-functional processes and controls (SOX compliant)
  • Strong communication (including preparing Executive level materials) and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter demonstrating high energy/creativity and customer-focus 
  • Experience with Solium Shareworks or other equity administration platform
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, legal and tax implications of global equity programs 
  • Experience with Solium CapMx (formerly SVB CapMx or EProsper) preferred 
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, vlookups, complex formulas)
