Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) works closely with business partners to gain in-depth understanding of processes, services and context in which the business operates.  The BSA is responsible for implementing current and future business requirements through systems capabilities. 


The primary focus of this role will be on systems and processes related to service contracts, recurring billing (subscriptions) and revenue.  The ideal candidate will have a robust blend of systems, process and project management experience combined with a track record of delivering successful implementations of processes and platforms.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Work with business partners to understand and design end to end business processes.

  • Define and implement systems to optimally support business processes.

  • Lead projects, manage scope; oversee schedules to ensure on-target project delivery

  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level

  • Collaborate with developers to implement custom requirements or integrations

  • Provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process

  • Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements

  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

  • Manage implementations of new systems capabilities and processes

  • Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements


Skills You’ll Need

Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working with recurring revenue systems, including but not limited to B2B or B2C subscription models

  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business

  • Strong project management skills and ability to successfully manage across functions

  • Must have excellent communications skills and be able to build strong relationships

  • Proficiency with SQL, Business and Office Applications suites

  • Able to work with ambiguity and help drive a path forward

  • 5-10 years of direct experience as a BSA with increasing scope and complexity

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with recurring billing/revenue models
  • Prior direct experience with contract management
  • Prior experience with ERP or CRM systems
