Sonos is looking for a Regional Trainer to support the retail, and independent dealer channels in an assigned market to drive advocacy through education about Sonos.

Regional Trainers develop relationships with strategic partners that create high impact educational opportunities.  Regional Trainers must be exceptional communicators with the ability to adjust their delivery to the knowledge and skill level of a wide variety of audiences.  Candidates must be highly organized, effective time managers, and able to see projects through to completion.

This role will require you to be on the road for at least 4 out of 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do
Training and Presentation
  • Present content in a variety of settings such as in person, webinar, over the phone, video, etc
  • Execute training sessions for a wide variety of audiences than can include Installed Solutions integrators, sales associates, Sonos customers, and more
  • Create or modify existing content to meet the needs of the specific audience
  • Effectively demonstrate all aspects of the Sonos experience, products, and software
  • Build the right message for the right audience. Craft a compelling story that inspires your partners to show our products in the exciting way
  • Support Sonos events that focus on advocacy of our system

Performance Management
  • Build relationships with all levels of an organization to create a culture of learning about Sonos
  • Monitor performance of large retail accounts (ie Best Buy) and all channels within assigned territory
  • Create and execute actionable plans to impact performance in assigned market
  • Plan regional training events that include internal and external partners

Successful Practices
  • Maintain a training plan and calendar for assigned region that supports the Canadian training strategy
  • Capture insights from accounts during meetings and visits and relate those insights to assigned territory performance metrics
  • Participate in working groups that explore and create new forms of training content at Sonos

Skills You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications

  • An experienced, passionate, and professional trainer with a knack for explaining technical details and story telling.
  • Must be a self starter, as this role is a remote position. Time management skills will be necessary to be successful.
  • Some travel and weekend training required based on business needs.
  • Ability to utilize relationships to influence partner performance.
  • Outstanding communication and public speaking skills.
  • Bilingual in English/French.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Experience with and a passion for consumer electronics and/or audio video integration.
  • Must own a vehicle, a valid driver's license and passport.
  • Must live in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario), Canada.
