The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing, forming and managing the sales channel business of the consumer market in his region. There is a strong focus on creating and implementing a business plan that supports Sonos’ growth targets with the partners you are responsible for.

As the Regional Sales Manager you will drive the business in your region and work closely with the Field Sales Manager to expand the sales channels in Consumer Electronics.

What You’ll Do
  • Implement and live the companies channel strategy across different sales channels (e.g. Technical Superstores, Buying Groups, AV Specialists)
  • Provide concepts and biz-plans to expand and strengthen the regional partnerships
  • Drive Instore optimization and best in class end customer experience (perfect PoS @ Retail)
  • Responsibility for all aspects of the daily management out our partner outlets such as availability, numerical distribution, implementation of sales promotions.
  • Secure the operational business based on the defined KPIs.
  • Negotiation of yearly agreements
  • Develop a mid and long term plan for your region
  • Working close with the national Field Sales Manager and Key Account Manager Team.
  • Develop and manage a scorecard to measure business results against. 
Skills You’ll Need
  • You preferably have an university degree and a proven track record in quick growing business in major retail chains (channel) and/or marketing.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in Consumer electronics, IT, Telco or services and business development.
  • You know the sales channels and key stakeholders in the defined region
  • You are fluent in German and have a very good knowledge of English.
  • You have entrepreneurial and negotiation skills who acts like a business leader who feels comfortable in a rapid growth environment.
  • You are creative with a good sense of what is needed for consumer conversion in retail.
  • You are a team player who also works well independently and is solution oriented.

In the rounds following the conversation with the recruiter you'll be meeting band members from our Sales and Marketing team in Germany. The final round will be held in our Munich office where we ask you to prepare a business case and presentation for our DACH leadership team.
