Regional Account Manager Audio Visual and Installed Solutions Nordics

Sonos is looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager Audio Visual and Installed Solutions (AV / IS) to accelerate our growth in the Nordic region, based in our Copenhagen or Stockholm office. This role will be fundamental in establishing and developing the AV / IS reseller channels and verticals (security professionals, electricians, house builders) across all the Nordic territories. You will be vital in creating and implementing a forward thinking strategy that will equip Sonos to become a significant player in the Nordics AV / IS  sector.

Audio Visual and Installed Solutions is one of the key sales channels at Sonos.  It’s the part of the business that is centered around Sonos being professionally installed by different types of professional installers. It’s a B2B channel that revolves around Sonos working with hundreds, even thousands of installation companies.  These companies (dealers) are experts in recommending, installing and maintaining technology solutions that address both residential and commercial customer’s wants and needs.  They offer best-in-class customer experiences and serve as the target customers Do it For Me provider.

As the AV / IS Lead for the Nordics, you will own this channel from top to bottom. You’ll be responsible for setting the go-forward direction of the channel in the Nordics, accelerating the traditional AV Installation business already in-place and evolving the channel to work with new types of professional installers. You’ll work very cross functionally with fellow employees across commercial, marketing, field sales, finance, partnership, among others. If done right, you have the opportunity to truly help diversify the Sonos business within the Nordics and tap into a massive growth potential.

The role reports into the Northern Europe Commercial Lead AV / IS GTM, who is based out of the UK.

What You’ll Do
  • Create a long term strategy for the Nordic AV / IS region to support sustainable profitable growth;
  • Build and develop meaningful relationships with distribution partners/key accounts to deliver against the goals;
  • Identify and act on new business opportunities related to the AV / IS Industry;
  • Work closely with all functions across the Northern Europe, regional and global teams;
  • Full accountability of forecast and expectations;
  • Takes ownership and approaches problem solving in a positive and solution oriented manner;
  • Good presentation, storytelling and negotiation abilities.

Skills You’ll Need
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience and account management in the Audio Visual and Installed Solutions market;
  • A creative ‘problem solving and solution finding’ approach to day to day business;
  • Strong relationship builder and strong team player;
  • A strong rapport builder with great interpersonal skills;
  • Analytical and strategic mind-set;
  • Creative, inspiring and progressive;
  • Great communicator (written & verbal);
  • Native speaker in Danish or Swedish, and a very strong command of English, both in writing and verbally.
