Recruiting Coordinator (Contract)

Department: Human Resources and Talent

Location: Boston

Req#: 4704

6-Month, Full-time Contract

Sonos is looking for a six-month contractor to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) team, which is part of our People Operations & Strategy (People Ops) function --- our version of Human Resources.

As a Boston based Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, interview teams and candidates to plan a flawless onsite interview experience.   While the majority of your focus will be on supporting the interview day, Sonos is a place where opportunity is rampant, so you’ll have exposure to a wide array of initiatives across TA and People Ops.

If you’re someone who is energetic, likes to manage multiple things at once, loves details, can talk to anyone, and wants to learn about recruiting and all things people, then this role could be for you.

About You

You're not like everyone else.

You bring a unique perspective to the table. Transparency tops your list of values. Your smarts and creativity are off the charts, matched only by your humility. You want to collaborate with a team of diverse talent. You proactively contribute to a culture of respect and inclusion.

You enjoy a challenge.

Inquisitive and focused, you see every challenge as an opportunity. You're ambitious and unafraid to make mistakes because you learn from them and bounce back quickly. You don't stop until you get it right. "Impossible" isn't in your vocabulary. You're more interested in creating the future than waiting for it.

You love to listen.

You start every interaction from a place of listening and seeking to understand. You're culturally connected. You remember your first concert. You can readily recommend a binge-worthy show on Netflix, Hulu or HBO. You can't sit in traffic without a great audiobook, podcast or album. You can make a killer playlist. Your idea of a good weekend includes watching a movie or playing a video game.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and update job posting in our applicant tracking system (ATS) and externally to various jobs boards
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the business need and subsequent talent needs
  • Coordinate candidate and interviewer availability to design interview schedules
  • Use Outlook to calendar video and onsite interviews
  • Arrange candidate travel and manage candidate reimbursements
  • Host candidates, provide office tours, and ensure interviews run smoothly
  • Ensure all interview feedback is collected prior to each de-brief
  • Ensure candidates have an exceptional interview experience from start to finish
  • Participate in TA projects as interest and bandwidth allows
Skills You’ll Need

  • Ability to commit to a six-month co-op from mid-January – June, 2019
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and extremely organized
  • Ability to embrace and act in accordance with the Sonos behaviors of respect, ownership, transparency and respect
  • Excited about the idea of supporting a fast-paced and progressive recruiting team
  • Able to effectively prioritize and ask for help
  • Comfortable interacting with people across all levels
