What You’ll Do
  • Bring up/Develop RF test equipment for production test and collect RF test data during development
  • Perform verifications on highly integrated wireless transceivers designed for high frequency/high data rate applications.
  • Oversee Radio production equipment. Making sure the wireless products are properly being tested.
  • Be a technical liaison between the US compliance team and the Chinese compliance institutes.
  • Be a technical liaison between the US Radio Development team and radio component vendors located in China.
  • Develop bench test plan and strategy to effectively screen wireless transceivers at production.
  • Bring-up the RFIC/PCB and characterize and optimize various design parameters such as power, gain, spurs, noise figure, filter, and system parameters such as EVM, PER/FER/BER, etc.
Skills You’ll Need
  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Radio/RF development best practices with an excellent understanding of RF, RFIC, RF systems.
  • Knowledge of basic RF compliance and electromagnetic compliance requirements
  • 2+ years hands on industry experience in Radio/RF Hardware design, test methodology design, and product debug.
  • Knowledge of test equipment including some or all of the following: spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, programmable power supplies, data loggers and any equipment used in the development of electronic engineering product.
  • Knowledge and experience with schematic entry and layout tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with coding for test equipment/programs and firmware usage is desired.
  • Uncompromising team work ethic.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to demonstrate independent thought, and operate with minimum direction from your design-engineering colleagues.
  • Willingness to travel.
