Position Summary:
The Purchasing Program Manager monitors all SONOS employee services and ensures the program aligns to SONOS company Values. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the global travel program; secondary responsibilities include the global management of the employee music service program, cell phones, miscellaneous insurance and purchasing support.  This role elevates recurring issues to management; proactively creates, generates, and analyzes system and custom reports to ensure compliance with various programs; works closely with third party providers to optimize spend, reduce costs, streamline processes, and improve the employee services experience globally. This position reports to the Director, Indirect Procurement.

What You’ll Do
  • Understands, optimizes, communicates, reviews and recommends changes to existing travel guidelines on an annual or as needed basis 
  • Works across the organization to obtain feedback and optimize program
  • Manages the relationships with third party management companies -Travel Agent, Online Booking Tool, preferred Hotel, Car and Air, Music Services, Cell Providers & Support, and Insurance
  • Works with regional teams (EMEA, China, Australia) to ensure consistent employee experience
  • Various order desk support and general order management support of vendor managers 

  • Oversee implementation and testing of travel guidelines, preferred vendors, travel profiles, credit card preferences, etc. 
  • Provide administration of online system, including editing traveler profiles, travel guidelines and preferred vendors, corporate credit card information, travel management reports and system upgrades
  • Monitor traveler satisfaction, cost effectiveness, system enhancements, fee accounting, management reports, and travel industry trends and advises leadership and travelers on best practices
  • Assist in booking travel when necessary

Music Services:
  • Manage open enrollment of Employee Music Service program annually
  • General program strategy including budget management and forecasting, program socialization, and enrollment
  • Secure coupons with music service providers and coordinates disbursement to employees; fulfillment of additional requests

Cell Phone:
  • Understand and support general strategy for cell phone program
  • Point of contact for global providers and escalation to support employee requests

  • Miscellaneous administrative support for Sonos insurance which includes coordination of requirements for renewal and disbursement of Certificates of Insurance (COI)
  • Support in filing new claims and answering general inquiries

Skills You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in corporate travel field involving domestic and international air, hotel, car, and rail arrangements required. 
  • Strong oral, written, and organizational skills to interface with all levels of Sonos
  • Superior customer service skills and values
  • Creativity, analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems. 
  • Must have a demonstrated commitment to organizational processes, goals, and objectives. 
  • Must have a diverse knowledge/experience base; strong first-hand destination knowledge of major domestic and international travel markets.
  • Organization with attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
