To sustain the growth plans, this senior role joins the China Leadership Team to develop and deliver the people strategy and plan for the region and drive the organizational capability to 2020 and beyond.

Reporting to the Director of People Strategy & Operations, for the Global Business Group, this is an exciting opportunity which will fully utilize your strategic vision and innovative thinking to evolve Sonos in China and the regional expansions while navigating the changing business challenges and opportunities in a fast-paced senior role.

  • Partner with a cross functional team to develop and deliver the People Strategy and Plan for China in a role that offers a broad range of accountability and the opportunity to test yourself, develop new skills and have fun working with a highly committed global team.
  • Provide expertise, thought leadership and challenge to the Leadership Team in China and earn the satisfaction, recognition and reward associated with high impact success.
  • Pro-actively take ownership of People related matters within China and steer the direction of the Organizational Development.
  • Constantly learn and develop yourself as you deliver programs and solutions to the business groups with new concepts and innovation.
Skills You’ll Need
  • Be passionate in what you do from the music you listen to through to the strategic frameworks you will develop for the Leadership Team.
  • Native Mandarin speaker and fluency in English.
  • Experienced running country HR Operations and leading cross functional teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices building strategies to include Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Organizational Design and Development, Organizational Health, Development and Rewards.
  • Clear understanding of data driven thinking to drive the consultative influencing of senior decision making.
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity as Sonos continues on the accelerated growth path.
