You have a deep connection to music, art, food and interior design culture in The Netherlands and Belgium, as well as a strong understanding of consumer electronics, music and entertainment public relations. 
You thrive in an international working environment that is constantly evolving, taking your own lead to deliver great projects, independently and as part of a team. 
You are a strong networker, able to navigate a global organization, guide business leaders, and lead agency teams and partners through the Sonos experience. 
Your personality and proven track record in executing public relations programs in the Dutch, and ideally Belgian, market puts you in a strong position to represent local market needs while pursuing the brand’s global strategic approaches. 

Working in partnership with European PR and the Benelux team, you are on the front line of our mission to fill every home with music. You will create and amplify creative brand communication campaigns, launch ground-breaking new audio products, and support the growth of the business brand in The Netherlands, continuing to establish Sonos as the leading home sound system in the region.
Based in our European hub office in Hilversum, you will form a crucial part of Sonos’ global PR network, representing Sonos in The Netherlands, one of our priority markets in Europe.

What You’ll Do
• Work directly with Director for Benelux and the Marketing manager for Benelux to create market-specific PR plans that represent our Global PR objectives and build a culturally relevant brand for The Netherlands and Belgium.
• Partner with EMEA and Global PR colleagues to deliver successful global projects with a local flavor, continuing to build on our product and brand reputation.
• Create and support campaigns that uniquely single out Sonos as a brand that matters in music and ensure a strong earned media performance. Excite modern creatives, music lovers and cultural influencers, reinforcing Sonos’ position as the leading home sound system.
• Manage our PR agency team, delivering a balanced creative brand, product and corporate PR program.
• Own localisation of global PR initiatives (translations, proofing and cultural adaptation). Maintain the company’s global voice while ensuring relevance in the market.
• Personally oversee a selected top-tier of media relationships. Initiate and manage media events and interviews.
• Maintain a calendar of events/activities, overseeing the PR agency to facilitate brand and product showcases, and serve as media liaison for logistics and communicating Sonos special events.
Skills You’ll Need
• 6-8 years experience, ideally with both agency and in-house experience. 
• Consumer technology and brand PR expertise (product, corporate, brand).
• Strategic, creative skillset and an ability to build impactful and original programs.
• Ability to lead feature development across different media channels (broadcast, online, print), in addition to displaying extensive experience with the product review process.
• Excellent network of lifestyle media contacts in The Netherlands, ideally also in Belgium.
• Native Dutch speaker, good copy writing and editing skills. Excellent English.
