Hardware Product Development owns defining, developing, and delivering hardware products for Sonos. This means we need a wide range of skills and experiences to deliver a world class audio product. What You’ll Do
Your life as a Sonos New Grad Hire will be varied, you’ll never be bored! You could be doing any of the following:
  • Test and measurement
  • Rework
  • Debug of HW or SW (or both)
  • Hacking up concepts be they HW or SW
  • Using, discovering, developing algorithms
  • Learning from our senior engineers and sometimes proving them wrong
  • Learning to use our tool chains 
  • Managing mini projects eg: developing test fixtures, coding up special functions, sub-circuit design 

Skills You’ll Need
Basic Qualifications
  • EE//Computer Engineering//Microwave-RF Engineering or related as a major
  • Having at least one of these proficiencies: digital design, analog design, embedded systems, transmission lines, signal processing, information theory, switchmode power supplies, microcontrollers and microprocessors, coding proficiency for mobile app, web app or embedded systems, computer science, machine learning and algorithms, electromagnetic theory, communications system theory, active/passive RF circuit design, antenna theory
  • Ability to deep-dive into a major project completed as part of course work or previous  internship 
  • Demonstration of intellectual curiosity, drive to get things done and ability to persuade and climb a learning curve
