Sonos is seeking to hire user experience designers to join our team. In this role you’ll help create simple, delightful and engaging user experiences for the Sonos wireless home sound system. You’ll work with some of the brightest minds in the business to enable our customers to listen to music throughout their home, or enjoy a movie in the living room, through the next generation of cutting edge app, voice and speaker experiences.

What You’ll Do
You’re a talented UX designer who is eager to learn and grow in a fast moving product development environment. You have the interest and aptitude to grasp the underlying architecture of a complex system and translate it into simple and joyful user experiences. You’re a team player who can prototype, test, and refine your ideas in innovative ways. You can design experiences with great attention to detail while still seeing the big picture, and you have excellent communication skills to share your design thinking.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product management, software development and user research to deliver simple and compelling user experiences for Sonos products
Ideate, prototype and test solutions with other designers and researchers
Refine and document your designs with obsessive attention to detail
Partner with software developers to realize your designs, on time and at the Sonos quality bar, within an Agile software development environment
Advocate for Sonos users as you strive to make the right product

Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as user experience design, user interface design, industrial design, graphic design
An aptitude to design experiences that are both pleasurable and easy to use
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
Aptitude for taking input from multiple sources and synthesizing it into coherent designs
A compelling portfolio of student projects
