Manager Installed Solutions (IS) & Audio Video (AV) EU & EM

As IS & AV Lead, you'll drive our Installed Solutions and Audio Video go-to-market approach. You'll own the strategy for {countries} and drive Residential Installed Solutions, including installer partnerships, vertical partnerships and new ways to deliver Sonos into consumers’ homes. 
You'll drive growth and delivery whilst playing a commercially strategic role to support our mission Listen Better, Live Better and to fuel our growth ambitions. Strategic vision, passion, integrity, strong communication skills and an eye for great execution are all required. This role reports directly to the GM. 

The ideal candidate is a decisive, action-oriented individual who takes ownership of open issues and has a proven track record collaborating effectively cross–functionally.   

The next phase of growth
Three trends have put Sonos in a unique position to Listen better, Live better: 
 
1) Explosive growth of Streaming: streaming is growing in excess of 50% year-over-year. We expect over 1 billion people to be paying for streaming by 2020. And Sonos leads the way by supporting more streaming services than any other company.
 
2) Advent of Smart Speakers: we invented the smart speaker category, and now companies like Amazon & Google have joined us and brought their own unique value with voice control and the ability to do additional things. Consumers are more comfortable than ever with putting an internet-connected speaker in their home.
 
3) Rise of the Connected Home: virtually every home in the countries we want to be in, is now connected with WiFi, and Consumers are seeking out devices that are connected and can make their lives easier. Sonos plays right into that trend.

What You’ll Do
  • Build, motivate and grow the team. Create a culture that is open, fair, fun and encouraging innovations that attracts top talents in the market to guarantee its long-term success.
  • Responsible for delivering the targeted sales growth in the assigned accounts.
  • Key partner for the GM leader, responsible for guidance, and development of the {countries} IS & AV strategy and its execution.
  • Solidify our position with existing Residential IS & AV partners in {countries}.
  • Collaborate effectively cross–functionally to drive a highly scalable, highly profitable IS & AV model.
  • You are the local brand champion in all account activities, tell our story aligned with our global strategy.
  • Maintain an intimate knowledge of the assigned accounts, market, and industry.
  • Ensure that the company gains a reputation as a top quality, premium brand with leading edge technology and particularly, customer focus through its outstanding services and support.
  • Form long term, trusting and mutually beneficial partnerships with key partners.
  
Skills You’ll Need
  • IS & AV management expertise within a past-faced Matrix organisation. 
  • Proven leader that has managed and developed a high performing team.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic sales planning and forecasting skills, and ability to develop a long-term business plan.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strategic thinker, strong planner and quality executor.
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
