Indirect Procurement - Vendor Manager

We are looking for a Vendor Manager to join our Indirect Procurement team and help support Sonos’ goal of driving sustainable and profitable growth. Sonos Indirect Procurement oversees global spend of indirect services and products, supporting all business units within the company. With the team located in the US and Europe, we partner cross-functionally to minimize risk and maximize value through strategic sourcing and vendor management.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with Sonos internal stakeholders to develop category and supplier relationship management strategies that deliver value back to Sonos.
  • Schedule and lead supplier meetings to review commercial terms and identify opportunities to reduce spend by establishing and utilizing all available savings levers.
  • Lead bid process, including requirement gathering, RFP development, evaluation criteria, industry benchmarking, vendor selection, negotiation strategy, legal redlining and final contract signing.
  • Create business cases to substantiate total cost of ownership, savings opportunities and prioritization.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic plan to drive value across multiple categories based on an understanding of the business’ priorities, the market, spend baseline and benchmarking expertise.
  • For assigned categories, continuously research and monitor the industry and report on significant activities, R&D investments, mergers and acquisitions, and competitors’ activities.
  • Lead supplier relationship management, building and maintaining relationships with strategic suppliers across multiple categories.
  • Experience developing procurement strategies for travel services, airlines & hotels to optimize cost & service, including design and execution of global RFQs, contract negotiations, etc., to implement defined strategies.

  • Ability to effectively work in a multi-cultural global business environment.
  • Experience developing procurement strategies for travel agency services, airlines & hotels to optimize cost & service, including design and execution of global RFQs, contract negotiations, etc., to implement defined strategies.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in an Indirect Procurement role, with responsibility for various spend categories (IT, Facilities, Travel, Consulting Services).
