What You’ll Do
  • You are the brand champion within the business and have an innate feel for the brand, coupled with deep understanding of our brand strategy and target audience ensuring they are at the centre of everything we do. Ensuring all of our activities live up to our strongly held company values and brand promise. Every time. 

  • Working closely with the local MD, you will be a key business leader, contributing to business growth, positive and sustainable business change and ongoing development of long range strategy plans for Sonos ANZ.

  • Support the distributor markets in SEA as needed.

  • Work seamlessly between local, regional and global teams and across marketing functions to deliver an integrated 360 view and plans. These plans will underpin ambitious business objectives and are anchored in local insights and market knowledge. 

  • Rally the teams to ensure marketing programs are executed to a level that lives up to our brand.

  • Drive demand through the marketing funnel to increase levels of aided and unaided awareness and familiarity of Sonos (measured quarterly in Australia). You will drive consideration and conversion to grow Sonos ownership and accelerate new Household acquisition.

  • Evangelise your local markets to drive enthusiasm for and deeper understanding among the broader global teams. Provide local context and insights to the regional and global marketing teams to influence and shape global strategy and brand vision.

  • Deeply collaborate with the global brand, product marketing, retail experience and CRM teams to provide local input to various planning processes. 

  • In-depth target audience understanding and broad business sense, adjusting plans and programs as needed to drive brand goals, the right return on investment and near-term business objectives.

  • As a member of the ANZ leadership team you will become the organizational “glue” to link the wider team to the Sonos brand.

  • Support the monthly and quarterly business review process providing analysis of marketing campaign results, relevant research, insights and business results.

  • Support business development and market expansion by collaborating with the commercial and channel teams

  • Empower and inspire your team (Brand Marketing Manager and PR Manager) to deliver the best work of their careers, improving their capabilities, providing regular constructive feedback and encouragement.

  • Build relationships with relevant agency partners (media, performance, PR, brand activation) and ensure they are managed effectively day to day by your team. Oversee briefing and planning, ensure they deliver results and provide timely feedback.

  • Responsible for the day to day management of marketing Opex including month end review, invoice payment, PO management and budgeting future fiscal years.

Skills You’ll Need
  • 12+ years relevant experience as a marketing professional with a strong mix of commercial and brand building capabilities for highly recognised consumer brands.

  • Proven track record of delivering effective and impactful integrated mar-comms campaigns on brand and on budget in the digital age across CRM, .com, social, digital, PR, advertising.

  • Experience working with a global brand and developing and executing local marketing programs that ladder up to the global brand strategy

  • Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate with and influence multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, flat, cross-functional, matrix-oriented organisation. 

  • Analytical skills to hone insights and data into actionable strategies that benefit the broader business.

  • Ability to think strategically and to express complex situations and ideas in a clear, convincing, concise and organized manner.

  • Commercially savvy with proven experience in contributing to business growth and development.

  • Inspiring people leader with experience in managing teams to harness capabilities and develop talent into future leaders. To provide feedback and have the hard conversations when they’re needed.

  • Sound judgement as evidenced through well informed decision-making.

  • Budget creation and management.
