Global Logistics Project Manager

With our growing business, increased supply chain complexity and new market expansion, we have a need for a global logistics project manager to support improvements and new initiatives. You will report to the Director of Global Logistics and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders on global, regional and country levels.

What You’ll Do

      Proactively initiate, plan and manage the development and implementation of all Global Logistics projects aimed at improving scale and performance and increasing execution capability

      Contribute to the development, scaling and professionalization of the Global Logistics infrastructure including but not limited to processes and tools

      Monitor industry trends, standards and practices to identify developments in logistics planning or execution

      Manage 3rd party logistics suppliers and consultants to achieve project goals

      Help streamline logistics operations and identify the best way to use our resources to achieve our goals

      Enhance performance by determining and reducing inefficiencies that might consume resources

      Oversee the entire life cycle of a product including component sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, internal allocation, order release and final delivery

      Responsibility to provide relevant consumer experience insight and provide logistics engineering capabilities

      Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of our project management methodology and tools

      Work cross-functionally with all relevant functions to optimize all logistical flows

Skills You’ll Need

      A progressive career in an international logistics/distribution/fulfillment environment

      Relevant supply chain management education

      Solid experience of managing supply chain projects

      Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure that own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of Sonos

      Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques

      Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities

      Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance our effectiveness

      Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization

      Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of Sonos

      Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details

      Determine strategies to move Sonos forward, set goals, create and implement action plans, and evaluate the process and results

      Computer proficiency and knowledge of databases, statistics applications, spreadsheets and logistics programs
