General Summary:

The Facilities Associate partners on and leads the design, implementation & hosting of internal events in line with our high energy work environment. The primary focus of the role would be to plan and execute hospitality services as a part of the Facilities team. He/she will partner closely with the Facilities team to foster an efficient operational team environment that is supportive of continuous improvement of the team and operational efficiencies.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner on designing, implementing & hosting internal events to support a high energy work environment.
  • Conduct research and coordinate details to assist co-workers in planning and hosting their event(s).
  • Coordinate details to support internal events such as room bookings & catering orders
  • Daily monitoring of all incoming tickets/requests. Ability to triage initial responses and help team prioritize.
  • Maintaining office, kitchen and snack supplies.
  • Employee program central hub, comfort in assisting in distribution and follow up thru front desk
  • Assists with receiving, sorting, packing and shipping all mail and packages both domestic and international.
  • Create & propose new ideas to improve on event planning and implementation process. 
  • Welcomes guests by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Maintains security by following procedures; issuing visitor/temporary badges
  • Assist with drafting & maintaining departments documentation for both inter and intra departmental needs.
  • Other projects as assigned
Skills You’ll Need
  • 2-4 years of related work experience, Facilities, Retail or Administration preferred
  • Hands on experience required.
  • High energy with exceptional ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently. Strong attention to detail, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a high change, flexible environment while still meeting deadlines
  • Comfortable initiating new and adopting existing procedures
  • Fast learner with good computer skills
