FP&A Analyst, Americas

This newly created role will be a key part of the Americas Finance team that acts as the finance business partner to the sales and marketing teams in this region. This role will be responsible for a variety of FP&A functions, including but not limited to budget management of OPEX, revenue tracking, financial model building, the creation of monthly/quarterly reports for key stakeholders, and ad-hoc projects such as business cases for new initiatives. This position requires clear communication with key partners, attention to detail, and a thoughtful approach to all projects. What You’ll Do
  • Regional Finance Support
  • Have a pulse on the OPEX and revenue versus Plan, Forecast and prior year
  • Work cross-functionally with regional Marketing team, participating in the monthly close and forecast process across multiple marketing channels (Public Relations, Paid Media Campaigns, Brand Activation, etc.)
  • Play a key role in the monthly and quarterly revenue close processes across the region, partnering with the accounting team to prepare and review business accruals
  • Support the other members of the Americas finance team by building out scalable and repeatable models to track performance and forecast accurately.
  • Be the point person with our accounting team, providing insight and reporting
  • Assist the regional sales team by tracking various programs with retail partners, while on the look-out for opportunities to drive economic efficiency
  • Work with the Canadian, and LATAM teams to understand FX impacts
  • Ad hoc projects supporting key business partners within Finance and Go To Market teams
Skills You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, mathematics, business or finance
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting or Financial Planning and Analysis function
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, anticipatory thinking and technical prowess
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principals
  • A passion for collaborating with others to deliver the best possible outcome while balancing key constraints
  • Proficient in complex financial modeling/excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Maintains a positive attitude, optimistic and willingness to learn
  • High integrity, self-aware, humble
