As a member of Core Data team, an Data Developer helps achieve this goal by working closely with other team members to deliver timely and accurate data to the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Design and implement internal master data portals for the company.
  • Design and implement internal utilities streamlining the ETL sourcing of data.
  • Work with the data services team to source data for our data warehouse and operational data store.
  • Write and update SSIS packages. 
  • Build tools to manage exceptions and reference data.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement and storage.
  • Work closely with project managers, business analysts, data modelers and solution architects in the timely execution of project deliverables.
Skills You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience. 
  • In depth experience with the SSIS ETL software tool. (SQL 2008-R2-2014).
  • Strong C# and/or Javascript skills.
  • Strong MS SQL Server skills.
  • Web portal design skills.
  • Windows app design experience for internal tools.
  • Experience with C# custom SSIS tasks, including custom sources and destinations.
  • Strong T-SQL optimization skills.  Should understand indexing and partitioning of tables.
  • Experience writing tech documentation.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively; verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and work on multiple tasks in order to meet key milestones and deadlines.
  • Proven experience in working closely with both internal and external customers.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework.
  • Simple SSRS report writing.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent.
