Sonos is looking for a Senior E-Commerce Director to contribute to the growth of our global e-commerce business.
Online will become the preferred purchase channel for the modern music lover (Sonos’ audience) and influencing over 95% of our sales by 2020.

Shoppers will expect personalization at every stage of the customer journey. Brands that use data to create a personalized experience are winning. Sonos has an opportunity to strategically leverage our own rich customer profile data for personalized experiences in our direct channel. 

The influence of online retail has fundamentally changed the shape of the path to purchase for Sonos. Sonos.com is the most important and helpful information source for initial information for customers shopping in any channel.

To capitalize on these shifts your job is to implement our strategy to grow our DTC (direct-to-consumer) E-Commerce business in AMPAC.

What You’ll Do
Deliver the sales plan for our AMPAC Direct E-Commerce business, in partnership with Country teams: United States, Canada, Australia & Mexico
Manage the forecast and plan the Direct sales business for the region.
Custodian of the AMPAC Direct E-Commerce P&L.
Partner with the digital marketing team to intercept customers at trigger moments and use the targeting and tracking capabilities of digital channels to localize, serialize and optimize our media.
Review performance marketing results against budget, collaborate on the strategy to ensure exemplary execution for all biddable marketing activities: SEM/SEO, affiliate, retargeting, performance social, performance display, and optimization.
Use merchandising to make Sonos.com the most compelling place to shop for Sonos; launch special and limited edition products, an accessories portfolio, and personalized site merchandising experiences.
Improve conversion by driving new service enhancements; relentlessly progress our fulfillment and in-home consultative experiences including in-home set-up, free/fast delivery, hassle-free returns, etc.
Establish leading operations, payment & fulfillment experiences in each region.
Develop and launch new exclusive service offerings for owners and direct purchasers: extended warranty, early access to new products, factory refurbished products, etc.
Use CRM to improve customer lifetime value and advocacy.
Initiate and plan key market expansion initiatives: make Australia a reference DTC experience, expand our digital DTC presence into Mexico, Singapore & Brazil.
Contribute to the growth of AMPAC e-commerce conversion rates on Sonos.com, and drive substantial improvement in the online customer experience.
Work in partnership with Country leadership teams to weave a cohesive DTC strategy across regional and country plans, drive best practices into retail, and elevate the brand in all channels.
Pilot, Test & Learn new initiatives within local markets
Align and unify Digital Marketing, Customer Care, Sales Operations, and Fulfillment Logistics organizations to substantially improve the Direct customer experience, and drive internal efficiencies in AMPAC. 

Skills You’ll Need
7-10 years of experience in the e-commerce space.
Strong functional understanding of contemporary e-commerce technologies and platforms.
Background in Sales Operations, Tele-sales, Shipping and Fulfillment logistics.
Deep track record in developing customer experiences to improve conversion and satisfaction across touchpoints.
Experience managing online marketing and landing page strategies for a large-scale B2C website.
Data driven decision maker that will institutionalize the use of consumer-driven analytics in investment planning.
Experienced in Digital category leadership
Proficiency with analytics and statistics.
Self-confident, proactive, decisive leader with the personality and people skills to achieve maximum results in a team environment.
Roll-up-your-sleeves entrepreneurial attitude.
Proven track record assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results and in a fast-paced online environment.
Excellent verbal and business writing communications skills
Passionate about music and technology and people and life.
