Data Engineering Manager - IoT

Department: Platforms and Infrastructure

Location: Santa Barbara, Seattle

Req#: 5359

At Sonos, we are passionate about bringing music into every home.  To fulfill this mission, we have developed an unquenchable thirst for data.  We use data to understand how our products are performing, which features need to be improved, design future products, optimize our supply chain and sales channel performance, and learn how our customers experience music in their homes.

The Data Platform and Processes team works closely with teams from across Sonos to collect and process the massive amounts of IOT data generated by the millions of speakers across the world. This collaboration ensures the Data Platform and Processes team provides scalable insights that are used to analyze performance and shape features as well as to understand how well products perform in the field, which features customers use the most and how best to support their overall experiences.

The Data Platform and Processes is looking for a manager who will drive the execution of our big-data platform, introduce new technologies to ensure cost-effective scalability, lead a team of dedicated developers and continue to build cross-functional collaborations.
