Core FP&A Manager

The Core FP&A Manager will have an excellent combination of innate curiosity, problem solving, root cause focus, ability to communicate financial results in clear concise terms, and organizational discipline. The role focuses on forecasting, with respect to P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital and Cash Flow statements in addition to owning and evolving the forecast process. The role requires the Senior Core FP&A Manager to communicate both Actuals & Forecast to Senior Finance Leadership, SONOS Bandmates and Board Packages. Therefore, the need to communicate effectively to each audience is key.

What You’ll Do
You will:
  • Own, drive, and evolve the Financial Forecasting Calendar across the business keeping key business partners aware of deliverables
  • Own the Process, accountability, and creation of the P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital and Cash Flow forecasts
  • Analyze, question and root cause financial results and forecasts 
  • Own and create both the Actuals & Forecast Packages
  • Draft communications regarding financial performance and outlook to the various audience’s
  • Insure the integrity and validation of numbers being presented 
  • Feedback learnings into the forecast process to constantly improve the product
  • Work with Accounting, broader FP&A, and the business teams to be progressive in our ability to deliver results, forecast quicker, and at greater quality with each iteration

Skills You’ll Need
You have:
  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
  • 8-10+ years of FP&A experience. Experience can be a combination of Core/Corporate and Business FP&A
  • Proven experience of Financial Statement Forecasting and Analysis (Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Conversion Cycle)
  • Multi-national company experience a plus
  • Experience of Microstrategy a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail 
  • High integrity, self-aware, humble, low ego
  • Have a Right First Time mindset and Lead by Example
  • Demonstrate discipline and consistency
