As Channel Marketing Manager for Central Europe, your mission is to shape and implement the retail marketing strategy for all point of sale touchpoints online and offline and define new areas to present the brand outside consumer electronics retail to support transforming Sonos into a lifestyle brand.
You will have the opportunity to help create the Smart Speaker category in retail, design and execute new activation programs for one of the fastest growing technology and music brands.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to lay out a strategy but also to ‘role up your sleeves’ and operationally work very closely with your team to make it happen.

What You’ll Do
• Define the retail marketing strategy for Central Europe.
• Bring the Sonos experience to life in-store.
• Partner with European team to create and implement a new online brand experience based on the set KPIs as defined in the channel strategy.
• Drive thought leadership and transformation of the retail experience, showcase Sonos unique value proposition and generate demand and conversion plus a strong ROI.
• Understand the consumer and marketplace dynamics impacting the Smart Speaker/Wireless Music streaming category.
• Lead and mentor the Channel Marketing Team CE.
• Develop account specific marketing plans for key retailers with support from Account Managers, including in-store presence, product assortment, promotions, merchandising, ATL advertising, social, CRM etc.
• Define experiential activities for Sonos in-stores to generate demand and sales with strong ROI.
• Develop strong relationship with the retailers, Sales Team, Field Marketing Team, 3rd party agencies and the European marketing team.
• Act as spokesperson towards the European team ensuring local needs understood and briefed in accordingly.
• Own and manage the marketing budget for the channels including tracking & reporting.
Skills You’ll Need
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail marketing/digital retail for a likeminded brand, ideally in music, technology or consumer lifestyle marketing.
• Experienced in working in a matrix organization.
• Strong organizational and strategic skills; ability to manage multiple complex projects and initiatives in a fast paced environment and deliver on deadline and on budget.
• A hands-on attitude, analytically strong, creative, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Understanding of local market, fluency in German and English is a must.
• Willingness to travel.
