Accounts Receivable and Credit Analyst

The Accounts Receivable and Credit Analyst will be responsible for a variety of AR/C functions, including but not limited to billing, reconciliations, credit tasks, collections and ad-hoc projects. This position requires strong communication with key partners, attention to details, and the ability to work on reports with thousands of lines of data. What You’ll Do

 Credit & Collection

  • Monitor collections for a portfolio of accounts using various collection methods to identify past due accounts and follow up with various clients to collect outstanding balance.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and customer charge-backs by working with the sales, operations, logistics teams and the customer. Working towards the goal to reduce chargeback/deduction balance to zero.
  • Support the setup and onboarding of new customers
  • Arbitrates customer complaints-coordinate between customer & sales personnel.


  • Assist in invoice processing: maintain shipment forecast data, reconcile for completeness, daily invoicing of AMPAC customers, dealer portal invoice submissions.
  • Collaborate with direct to consumer sales team, sales operations, logistics, finance and IT to resolve variances, billing and payment issues and prepare for upcoming activity
  • Support customer returns process


  • Reconcile logistic service provider’s (LSP) shipment data against system generated sales transaction documents
  • Reconcile credit card payments from direct customer and credit card dealers against credit card processing systems and bank reporting 

Projects & Ad Hoc

  • Support Accounting team during yearly audits
  • Maintains cross-training and update required documentation for other departmental personnel.
  • Assists with continuous improvement projects
Skills You’ll Need

Skills You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, mathematics, business or finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable and / or credit function.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, anticipatory thinking and technical prowess
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principals
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Maintains a positive attitude, optimistic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
