The core purpose of this role is more than just managing independent dealer accounts, it’s about bringing them to the next level to deliver an epic customer experience throughout the entire customer journey. Success in this role is achieved through being able to excel in both autonomous and collaborative work environments to deliver results and exceed goals.  

Sonos is looking for a Regional Sales Specialist (RSS) to manage the Custom Integrator dealer channel in the greater Boston area to contribute to our mission to fill every home with music. You will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships at all levels within the account base, which includes Custom Integrators in the CEDIA channel and target growth opportunities with Security Integrators, HVAC Integrators, Electrical firms and the Builder channel. Internally you will build relationships and work collaboratively to delivery high quality external activities.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and develop dealer relationships to exceed corporate growth goals. 
  • Deliver exceptional sales and product training sessions to channel partners to drive brand passion, advocacy, and partnership alignment. 
  • Provide channel insights and contribute to the sell-through forecast process. 
  • Effectively manage your time to ensure you are doing the right work. 
  • Work closely with all functions of the AMPAC Teams to ensure the defined accounts have cut-through marketing activity, well trained and knowledgeable staff, strong in-store Sonos presence, and a proactive approach to attracting new customers.
  • Establish rapport and planning cadence with priority accounts to deliver a customer experience that is aligned with the AMPAC strategies. 
  • Has full ownership and accountability for key accounts and their execution of Sonos strategies with short and long term planning.  
  • Build up solid internal relationships within Sales, Marketing & Operations. 
  • Making meaningful progress within the Custom Integrator channel through identifying top growth prospects capable of becoming Gold Dealers. 
  • Deliver a valued contribution to business development in the adjacencies strategy (Builders, Security, HVAC, Electrical integration companies) 
  • Adding value to the AMPAC team through professional communication of valuable insights, new ideas, and a drive to question everything. 
  • Showing business intelligence to help improve the effectiveness of the team and the assigned account base. 
Skills You’ll Need
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Between 5-10 years of customer facing roles within the wider consumer industry, with focus on building and managing key relationships in custom integrator channels. 
  • Broad professional background within Sales, Product/Category management or Marketing. Entrepreneurial background is preferred. 
  • Road warrior, story-teller, and relationship builder. 
  • Full understanding of business mechanics and acumen. 
  • Experience in turning relationships around and getting results under pressure. 
  • Analytical and strategic mind-set. 
  • Creative, inspiring and progressive.
